Dear Mr. Greig,
I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing to address a concern that has arisen due to the level of noise coming from your apartment, which has recently become quite disruptive.
You and your wife departed for holiday three days ago, and initially, the noise during the afternoons was manageable. However, it appears your son has since hosted several gatherings which have significantly increased in volume, particularly around midday.
As I continue to work from home in a hybrid arrangement necessitated by the pandemic, it is imperative that I maintain a quiet environment to ensure effective communication with my clients. Unfortunately, the elevated noise levels have begun to hinder my ability to conduct important meetings. For instance, yesterday, a party held in your flat from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. was particularly loud, forcing me to postpone several client discussions due to the lack of a conducive working atmosphere.
Could you kindly speak with your son about maintaining a respectful noise level during his gatherings? I appreciate your cooperation in helping preserve a peaceful environment, as it is crucial for my work next week. Should this issue persist, I may need to consider further actions to resolve the disturbance.

Dear Alex,
I hope this message finds you well. I am reaching out today to discuss a matter that has been troubling the peaceful atmosphere of our neighbourhood for some time now.
The concern involves the volume of the music emanating from your residence. This has been an issue for approximately three months and tends to escalate during evening hours, often persisting well into the night. The persistent high volume has significantly disrupted the tranquillity of our community, making it difficult for many of us, including my family and myself, to enjoy our evenings and to get a restful night’s sleep.
I kindly request that you consider reducing the volume of your music, especially after 9 PM. I believe that this measure would greatly contribute to restoring the serene environment we all cherish and respect in our community. Additionally, it would prevent any further discomfort for all neighbours and promote a more harmonious living situation for everyone involved.
Thank you very much for your attention to this matter and your cooperation in maintaining our neighbourhood as a peaceful place to live. I am hopeful that we can resolve this issue amicably and look forward to your understanding and support.

Sample Letter 3
Dear Mr. Andrei,
I am writing to inform you regarding my disturbance because of the noise coming from your flat.
After your wife and you went on holiday, there was an acceptable noise during afternoons for three days. Then, I believe that your son invited his friends to your home. Unfortunately, they are too noisy, in particular at middays. I have been working in a hybrid system since Covid-19, and I will be working from home next week as well. Therefore, noise is an obstacle to maintain an effective communication with my customers.
As I mentioned before, for two days the noise was at an acceptable level. After it was intolerable, I requested your son to be silent because of my meetings. As a result, there was no problem for two days. However, they gave a party, which lasted from 2 p.m. to 18 p.m., yesterday, and it was terrible. I had to postpone my meetings since I could not concentrate owing to the noise.
Could you please warn your child to be respectful to me and the other neighbours’ rights. As I have to work remotely for the upcoming week, I require a peaceful apartment. Otherwise, I would call the police in an unacceptable situation.
