The line graph compares the proportion of Internet users in the USA, Mexico, and Canada from 1999 to 2009. It clearly shows that all three countries experienced an upward trend in internet usage, with Canada achieving the most substantial increase.

Initially, the USA led with the highest proportion of internet users, starting at approximately 20% in 1999. It showed an upward trend over the next three years. However, in 2002, the growth rate slowed, allowing Canada to surpass it, resulting in second place at approximately 80% in 2009.

In contrast, Canada started at a lower base of just 10% in 1999 but displayed a dramatic surge in internet usage, overtaking the USA, with 40% of its population using the internet. This growth did not wane; by 2009, nearly the entire Canadian population was online, with figures approaching 100%.

Mexico, while starting with the lowest proportion at 6% in 1999, also showed consistent growth. The rise was more gradual compared to Canada but was steady, culminating at about 40% by 2009.
