Excessive childcare cost along with a subsistence household earning is one of the major root causes behind the new trend of stay-at-home fathers. Most of the parents stumble to afford a babysitter to look after their children. As a result, they are forced to keep them under home care. Meanwhile, majority families live on both parents’ income, which presents them no choice but to stay home alternatively. That means, to complement mothers’ absence, sometimes fathers are staying home to take care of their children, which is a relatively new development.
